Wooleen Station

Covering half a million acres of picturesque rangelands, Wooleen Station is a cattle station playing a leading role in preserving and sustaining the unique ecology of the region.  Guided half-day and sunset tours include the Nationally important wetlands of Wooleen Lake, seasonal wildflowers, aboriginal heritage, colonial history and spectacular granite outcrops.

Learn how the Pollock family are working towards making Woooleen an ecologically sustainable enterprise.  Make use of the walking or hiking trails, mountain bike trails, self-drive routes, bird-watching, museums and more.  Open each year, April to October.  Accommodation includes hosted homestead stays, self-contained guesthouses and unpowered campsites located on the banks of the Murchison River, the breath-taking breakaway cliffs or close by the homestead.
