Five times a year Box Rallies run very unique, hugely exciting and challenging Outback charity car rallies. These projects raise over $8 million annually for cancer research. It is our incredible community of rally participants that make the research possible. Through their involvement in the rallies each team goes to the community to raise the funds. Each team spreads the word of what we, as a wider community, are trying to achieve. Every dollar counts and with approximately 950 teams every year the combined donation totals reach huge levels.

The State Government has decided to make the 2024-25 Household Electricity Credit available to eligible off-grid residential households.

As outlined previously under the Murchison Settlement Redevelopment, at the November Council Meeting, the final draft “Murchison Vast Sky Experience Business Case” was submitted to Council, where it was resolved that it be endorsed it principle and that public comment be sought.
