Murchison Settlement, Carnarvon Mullewa Road, 202km North of Mullewa.
Library Services
Loan of books, videos and talking books to people within the Shire of Murchison and neighbouring stations.
For those on the Mullewa North Mail Run, books can be despatched and returned using this service.
Members of the library also have access to other books etc through an inter library loan service which allows them access to all library stock within WA.
Public Internet Access is available during office hours.
Our most recent addition to the library is access to Britannica Online, which can be view from home or at the public Internet terminal at the office. To view these sites please contact the Librarian for user names.
Library Redevelopment
In January 2005 the Murchison Library received a much needed revamp which included new shelving, a coat of paint and four new children's chairs.
The redevelopment was done using volunteer labour so thankyou to everyone who assisted.
A surplus office computer will be installed into the library within the next few weeks, this computer will be fully equipped with Broadband internet usage and people are reminded these computers are available during office hours free of charge.
